Coleen Rooney

I've got the Vogue, and I think she looks quite pretty. Pleasantly surprised!

It is Cate Blanchett not Coleeen on the cover. There was a tiny picture in The Mirror last week of it and I thought it was Cate. It has just been posted.

lol i saw that and just thought they'd airbrused her loads

She looks really pretty in the last picture, just nice and natural. I'm not her biggest fan but she seems like a nice enough girl and get's a very rough ride from the press.

I would love to know what will she do when her and Rooney break up...I wanna have some laugh. I really don't like such people. Those lazy ***es that spend their bfs money and all they do is shopping.

^ That's mean. Laugh when other people are in misery and karma will come back and slap you in the face

Hey Brits...Wayne Rooney and Colleen McLoughlin

I was in London for about a week and read in article about them.

Just curious, what are your thoughts about them?

And Sorry if this is in the wrong forum..

Coleen's such a fashion victim. I love reading about her shopping ventures though! that weekend in New York was crazy... I just feel like she's with Wayne because of the benefits that comes with it. She would be nothing without him... not that she is somebody.

I can't believe she's 19 and engaged to him.

BTW She has a fashion spread in the current issue of Vogue...

A pic of her and her unique, ahem, style

^^^ :sob: if only it was unique that style is as common as muck were i live, she dresses like a typical scouse girl, exsept hers are the real deal not copys from the market  :( so so so sad

its not her, personally that bothers me, its just what she's about. All the "fashion" magazines *cough*heat*cough* are hailing her a style icon and some of her comments about her style...like the fact that she's "always grown up loving fashion" annoys me. She's just like millions of girls around the country who all think they are stylish and "boho" a la Sienna when they are just cheap imitations. Difference is, this girl is a cheap imitation at an expensive price.
it's not even that hard-look at nicole ritchie! just get a stylist PLEASE!

if she feels ok in her clothes what's the problem? everybody is talking about ' your own style' but you guys don't make you're own clothes right??? so how can you possibly have ' your own style'?? she just wears what she likes, even everybody is knocking her down! stop with it!:yuk:

shes just someone whos never had the chance to buy anything designer, but now she has the chance she tries to buy as much as she can and wear it all at once, also the colours and style is yuck...ive seen her in the trafford centre and shes tiny, but she is quite pretty and she has the chance to be stylish if she uses the right clothes and makes her look less barbie. i also saw in the paper today a picture of her with a primarks bag so she could be on a conversion from all this designer junk..

Coleen McLoughlin photographed in a Stella McCartney skirt, a Gucci top, Gucci earrings and a YSL Rive Gauche scarf. By Robert Wyatt for Vogue

IF anyone can do wonders for a girl's fashion status, it's Vogue and despite the furore over the magazine's stunning makeover of Coleen McLoughlin, the spend-happy girlfriend of footballer Wayne Rooney, nobody can deny that she looks better than even she could have hoped. Photographed by Robert Wyatt in a series of high fashion poses wearing clothes by the likes of Stella McCartney, Gucci and YSL, the 18-year-old is also given her first public chance to defend herself against the criticism she suffers at the hands of the press. "I'm not the person the newspapers think I am," she says. "And there's all this hype, but I didn't seek it… And I don't understand that chav label, I don't know what it's supposed to mean… When you see someone in the paper, it's so different to real life, isn't it?" She is, she says, just a normal girl who loves shopping. "I love TopShop, Gap and H&M, and though I like more expensive labels as well, what does my head in is when you get a new bag and then there's a knock-off version down the market the next day." And she isn't the shopaholic she's made out to be. "Yes I go shopping, and I buy what I want but sometimes I'm photographed and there's a story that says I've been on another spending spree, when all I was doing was popping round to my mum's or buying a friend a birthday card. I haven't set out to be famous but I'm beginning to feel like I can't win. Sometimes I wonder if I'm being punished for something that Wayne's done. In the end, what matters to Wayne is what appears on the back pages, the sports pages – he can go out and be a hero again on the football pitch. I can't." (May 5 2005, AM)

Not everyone dresses like her in the UK as some of you are saying. Just a majority of the young, (i know it sounds really snobby and I don't mean it in that way) commoner:doh: (i'm so sorry) girls. It's not their fault - it's just the 'IN' thing around where they live, they don't realise it's so bad and they can get fakes that look no worse because they look bad in the first place. So, they buy them because people from their areas like Colleen buy them, so they think they can get them too.. just at the market or something.

It's kind of offensive to people saying 90% and the majority of English girls dress like that becaue they don't. And a lot of English girls look better.
