Has anyone ordered these online? I want 3x trends but it's going to cost $260 with shipping!!! Does any one have a discount code or something? Thanks in advance :)

You should really post this in the Members Exchange Magazines thread instead :flower:

This thread has been around since 2005 & since nangnangnj took the time to find it in the archives... then it's perfectly fine that he posted here about the magazine.

I've personally never purchased Collezioni... but I've seen them at my mag shop. Best of Luck getting your magazines nangnangnj :flower:

Oh God these are the most fabulous magazines. All full page photos from runway shows, though its never the full shows, just looks. They're so expensive, at least when I bought them, and that was almost 10 years ago, in 1998/1999/2000, they were $60 a piece. I would get them at the Pike Place Mag stand, on Pike and 2nd in Seattle and then make collages with them, or sit and just drool for hours on end, they are very time-consuming to go through.

i still have one, with Esther Canadas on the cover.

You cut yours up?!! I love cutting out images for my visual diaries, but at this price I think I'm just going to colour copy the pages I want first. I haven't seen Collezione in stores here except maybe mag nation but then they only order one or two copies and because they are so $$$ people go in to have a flick through but never buy them...so the person who does end up shelling out the money has a dog eared copy.
I have a thing about the fresh clean magazines, they have to feel new or I won't buy:doh:
Anyway the link Estella put up on post #2 of this thread allows you to buy online (that's where I got my quote) so I might just buy them there. They have so many titles but the trend ones I want have a focus on fabrics and textiles.:woot::heart::woot::heart:
My college has most of the other titles in our library (not for loan) so I can check out those there.

Ps. Anyone living in Melbourne who wants to know the best library for fashion and textile resources PM me!

The one I have remaining with Esther on the cover isnt cut up, but the others had several models, several runway collection photos on cover, so those were cut. I'd love to be able to scan in all the great photos but I'd have to tear out the pages to do so. I probably will at some point. ;)

can anyone describe how this magazine is like? i know its a thick magazine, over 400 pages, and shows the runway shows from the fashion cities. but is it like it only highlights the best of the shows, does it show every show, or only the major designers, information like that. ive seen it once or twice, but it was held up on the highest shelf, and im only a 5'1 so i could never reach it. and how much is it in america? wanted to know if it would be cheaper to get it online or at the newsstand. THANKS!!!

It was $60 US dollars when I would buy it back in 1998 through 2000. So who knows now? Havent bought it since then...it does not show the entire collection, mainly highlights like you mention, there are tons of ads, its good for ads that are rare, and it shows all of one season, plus it focuses a lot on Fashion Weeks in Spain, like Barcelona, Madrid, etc. I only have the one copy still, I would love to share it, but since it is now over ten years old, I dont really want to tear it up. ^_^

I think the last time I saw one it was around $80-ish. I don't look at them at the mag store... they put them way up high so you have to ask for it.
