just want to say pushmowers are really underrated.

I can't believe she gets top editors to her shows (I can see Mark Holgate, Virginia Smith, Will Welch, Sam Hine,,,).
She’s weirdly one of the “darlings” of American Vogue editors that they constantly cover. Along with Collina Strada the editors also love Area, Luar, Eckhaus Latta, and Willy Chavarria. Sies Marjan before they went out of business lol.

You can tell in the CFDA awards that there’s this weird split in American fashion with them nominating the more “art project” labels above and then KHAITE/The Row.

i dislike instagram so much because I can't scrobble. this shouldve been a fast forward...

the way that dancer hit the floor at the opening made me laugh. its so bad it's good.

that kind of sums this collection up. its so bad it's good. lots of cute cocktail looks honestly.... great for art gallery openings

would you consider HBA one of them? At least he was quite serious, I still remember his pornhub collab

This show definitely took place in Brooklyn right? That’s what the clothes/rags and dusty try hard vibe are giving.
Its most definitely giving Gentrified Brooklyn not the true essence of Brooklyn. I normally like to ignore presentation and horrible styling to look at individual pieces but in this case, some of the pieces may look decent when worn in the real world with easier to understand styling but they will also look like anything you can get from Zara or ASOS.
I had to go to her site to look at the clothes properly and when you look at the lookbook you can see some technique and a brand aesthetic of sorts which may not appeal to everyone but can still be styled to look fashionable. I dont know why she presents in such a horrible way every season.

Unfortunately the fashion people will 'support' a brand to show that they are part of that brand's inclusiveness and outsider perspective but will mostly support them superficially with no financial benefits.

She makes a mockery of it all. She thinks she is some kind of counter-culture contrarian when it's just hopelessly contrived and ugly. The over representation is also a total bore. We get it, you want to win the inclusivity olympics. You've got a disabled person again, ok. But you don't have an obese, trans, minority disabled person do you? Do better next time there has to be some niche group of humans you're missing in the casting brief. Laughable. They need to remove her from the schedule if they want to retain any last shred of credibility. NYFW is a joke because of 'shows' like this.

Funny enough when you look at the pictures there are some interesting pieces that can be styled well with a nice pair of heels and a red lip. But the theatrics cheapen it all. If she developed and made her lightweight modern fairy aesthetic more tasteful she would have aplace in fashion.
