I did a search but didn't find anything but if I missed it and there is a thread, mods please merge them together :)

I was posting this more so for the sake of interest and discussion; I don't know if I'd be crazy enough to do it but I wanted to hear what everyone else had to say, if they've gone through this experience, etc.

Has anyone hear undergone a colon cleanse? I heard Ashlee Simpson once did one  and I hear it feels like your body is brand-new. I've come across sites where you can purchase pills, teas and whatnot and go through this Detox Program, and then you read (and see ) testimonials of people talking about how amazed they were that they had so much crap (literally) living inside their intestine walls. I question the legitimacy of some sites and I don't think I would ever purchase pills online but still, pictures don't lie. If you're interested, you can take a look at this website, but I have to warn you it's not for the squeamish. http://www.drnatura.com/

Has anyone undergone a colon cleanse? What are your opinions on it? Is it necessary? Does it truly make your body feel better?

interesting...i would like to know as well. i would consider one myself if its safe

I haven't tried it.
I guess with this sort of thing.. everything is good in moderation

It's been around forever..
Now it's part of the whole 'detox trend'.. 10 years ago however.. it was a sexual fetish.. :ninja:

I have tried this, and personally, I think there are more effective ways to purify yourself from the inside out.

With a colon cleanse, they are sticking an object into your body, injecting water (via a hose-like substance), and its liquifying your (well, you know, waste:lol:).

Anyhoo, it comes out kinda forced. It's not comfortable, and you have to do it for a while.

I would advise/advocate going on fasts like master cleanse or raw foods.

Yes - don't do it. You need that "crap living inside of your intestines" I see no point at all in removing healthy normal microbiota.
