not sure how i feel about this yet. I think this may take some time for me.

i think the elements here are also very comme. if you look back at their collections from the early 90ies more classic and taken back elements were included into the main line, just a classic jacket with a slight decontruction, plain stuffs, overcoats etc. now the ideas in the main line are focused more on an extreme theme. i would not call this line a 'diffusion'. it is like she has splitted her different interests into different lines.

i originally meant diffusion rolleyes: but maybe derived isnt that far off). i didnt realize there was another line but it does literally seem a bit [rei] diffused in this case. either way, its delicious.

lucky- it's too hard to keep them all straight...
maybe it helps to check our thread on the comme des garcons universe...

but this is right in the front of the comme store on the right if you walk around that corner...
it's always some version of basic core stuff that are rei's signatures...
ie- the cut away jkt ...the crop pant...etc...often scalloped edges...etc..
