Comme des Garcons and Cutler and Gross

I do like them but not sure I'd wear them myself. Maybe the clear rimmed with the rose glass.

By the way, I take objection to the summer collection being called high camp!!!!

I don't know, Johnny, from the little I've seen in person I thought both men/women's were pretty terrible. Seen some Junya too, over the weekend. It's good, but the prices are through the roof.

is it high hetero?

I don't like the glasses - sorry johnny.

i had 'rose-coloured glasses' in 1983/84...yes..that's right...i did...LOL...

Why didn't you like it Faust?

faust, sorry, I was just being a bit obtuse (inaccurately) refering to the opposite of high camp.....

I thought the colors very tacky. I'm really not into bright colors, and I don't think she mixed them well (the way Paul Smith can mix them, for example). I didn't like the pink stitching on the suits either, although I could deal with that. And the women's was just horrendous, weird cuts and shapes, the patterns and the Frankenstein stitching, it just didn't look good at all. I saw only a few pieces, the stores are just getting the first shipments, so it's too early to fully judge. I saw few Junya pieces for men, but damn were they expensive! I am not paying $1000 for a pair of pants, I don't care how many zippers and pockets they have.

what's the opposite of high camp (am I rightin in assuming that by camp you mean kitsch)? (I need to wake up  ).

oh - does camp mean kitsch in american? euro american disconnect here me thinks

camp does not mean kitsch...it means overtly and outrageously gay...in a slightly ironic way...tongue in cheek...

Yea. So, can you say it in American?

I think camp basically means effeminate in a kitchsy kind of way. Basically exaggerated gay, like a drag queen. No? Anyway, that's not my intended look!
