^ Are you sure GB? I remember that someone else used to design the line. But two years (I think) ago he left. It was said that RK and JW "joined force" - I think they work together for the first time - to design the line.

100% sure, last month we got a selection from full off HP EVERGREEN and HOMME, totally dif. the both lines, if you compare a JW jacket and an HOMME are exactly the same cuts, the shape,even the pockets! REI KAWAKUBO, JUNYA WATANABE and TAO KURIHARA, are three completely dif. designers they just share the same vision. If try to do a shooting by putting together one JW and one CdG from main lin both you will see something very strange they don't match!!

GuerillaBoy, nqth is right. Homme was, till two or three years ago, designed by another person in the cdg team, but was replaced by Junya and Rei, because Rei didn't like the direction it was going in. As far as I know they still do it together. The line is, in my view, different from Junya Watanabe Man and Homme Plus, particularly the former. Compare Junya's last autumn winter collection with the Homme AW line. Very different. There're maybe more similarities in the current collection just because JWM has a lot of suiting. Homme is in a different market position to both JWM and Evergreen. Evergreen is a revisit, specifically, of Homme Plus designs. Homme is a distillation of "classic" comme des garcons menswear . JWM is Junya's chance to do something that is not classically CDG, but in a "CDG way".

Johny,sorry I am not saying that HOMME is the same with JWM, I am saying that JW is designing the HOMME line the last 3 yers as you said,We had almost 40 pieces from HOMME line they are not the same as JWM (main line) but they are suits with JW signatures.if you can understand what i am saying.First of all REI never designed in the exterior of a jacket pockets with zippers and smallpockets for mobiles,or she never drag the stiches from a cloth as JW used to play with pockets and the stiches, I have a jacket from JWM which looks exactly the same with a jacket from HOMME the only dif is the fabric!

Thanks Nqth. From what I can make of it, the key bit was on what the concept was - basic clothes for a modern(?) man who thinks in the CDG way. The homme clothes are basic - simple template of suit and shirts/tee shirts - but made of classic comme fabrics (very synthetic) and styles (narrow trousers, three button jackets, lapels of contrasting fabrics etc).
