what's the connection with Fred Perry, I nver really knew why.

I really like the bags, especially the black ones.

I always saw Comme des Garcons SHIRT as a merchandise-secondary line of CdG - and I dito that I don´t see the relation with Fred Perry, that´s so obivously non-design... very disappointing.

When I first saw this collection I liked it but now I don't. It's a little too gimmicky with all the colour. There seems to be little "control" over the design - like they came up with a theme and then produced a seemingly infinate number of pieces being varations of that theme. Also, the quality is really quite low, although to be fair, so are the prices - much much less than the mainline.

There are some nice jackets in shirting fabrics, both zip up and blazer style.

Theres been a collaboration with Fred Perry for a while now, with shoes, polo shirts and jackets in the past.

I don't like this collection, I like CdG generally but i've never really understood the coloured lines unless theres some other meaning i've missed.

I prefer the Fred Perry original cause I've always been a Lacoste and Fred Perry fan
also I don't like the colors of the polos they do.
I've seen a V neck in winter,something like 30% cotton,70%polyester....this is not for me.I like 100%cotton!!

I also don't get the "colour blocks". I saw nice "Shirt Power" and "Never Mind" shirts in Guerrilla. Kind of racing style lettering. v. v. nice patchwork Ts with "Shirt Power" cut and rejoint in diff. pieces. White shirt with jersey back or front. Knitted polos are aslo cool.

That's just the comme way Stelios - polyester all over the place. It's not a bad thing at all. Just because a fabric is synthetic doesn't make it cheap. How many cotton sweaters are there in the world? Also I think with that stuff you're talking about it was kind of a throwback to the FP archives. My school v necks were polyester/cotton mixes - there was, and still is, an obvious retro feel about the collaboration.

Don't like those new polos - they have "cdg" written under the laurel. Hmmm. Last summer's were better, more authentic.

Like the jacket you picked nqth. I also like the red cotton jacket worn with the shorts.

I know synthetic doesn't make it cheap but why I have to pay for non original,owfull colored polo?Anyway I agree with you last summer were better...
