Well said. But it’s also crazy when you think how models like Lara who started modelling aged 13 and like you said only skyrocketed years later (I believe 10 years or so). Yes, 10 years is a long time to be modelling under the radar but she was merely 23 when she became a regular high fashion face. Which in today’s standards is still pretty young and a common age to start appearing on runways, magazines etc. I guess it’s to do with the industry growing conscience on the exploit of underage girls

Am I imagining but wasn't Lara's case the same with Irina, both were catalogue models until one particular show made them big overnight? For Irina it was Givenchy, that much I know.

I've never been a fan of Lulu when she started. But ever since i saw her at Céline Saint-Tropez show/ad (modeling to the sound of The Libertines) I became a fan. Definitely she's one of my favorites. Her long slim body and her long neck make every photography stunning. I'm glad she's already an establish model.

Yeah similar I think. Irina was big in the swimwear circuit I guess before she became high fashion

Yeah, Lara had quite that slow start. I believe she was with Elite NL when she began, then changed for IMG. And things happened. Also loved when the likes of Saskia de Brauw or Kati Nescher appeared a while ago, both in their late 20's or even older. Was some kind of healthy changes since all those underaged girls were maybe popular to the max in theory, they merely scored any big campaign or booked a decent cover. Was such a craze and was heartbreaking in many cases. Another one that had a quirky career pattern is Aymeline Valade. First time I noticed her she was only signed with Women Direct in Milan, mostly as a lingerie-catalogue model. Then things changed quite a lot for her...
