Courrèges Resort 2022 & Menswear S/S 2022 Paris

Another strong outing IMO!

The menswear is equally impressive in aspects of strong tailoring, gender-less design, and those amazing 60's/70's references that still feel modern and classic for today!

Really excited to see what evolves from this in the womenswear S/S 2022 presentation.

He maybe success in bringing Courrèges elements into the womenswear. But the menswear is just straight up A.P.C tho.

I like it! Could do without putting the AC on stuff but whatever. I hope he continues to push himself a bit further in his progression tho. I feel this has yet to be fully realized. Excited about it!!

I love it. It's simple, but has a lot of attitude. I really appreciate that Nicolas had gone for literal versions of his FW21 womenswear collection, because it's a sign that he's a confident designer and he's not afraid of challenging his customers. The colour palette is great, especially the vibrant yellow and orange. And that second look, so wonderful! I wish the collection was bigger, but I get that it's a starting point and he's going to expand his vocabulary.

What's really promising is that Artemis seems to really invest in the brand right now with redesigning their stores and this menswear/resort show. I really hope Di Felice will hit the right spot and Courrèges will be great again. At least this perspective is getting more and more real.

Is this their first menswear offering? I'm immediately interested!

Clear and directional, which is such a rarity nowadays. I'm definitely interested.

Simple but interesting pieces and the styling really just pulls everything together. I must say that I'm quite a fan of Nicolas's strong and consistent vision for the brand.

This collection has reached stores a couple of days ago and I just want to say that I love how suprisingly affordable this is compared to the rest of Kering and Artemis' brands.

These are the most expensive items I could find on their site:

€1150 ($1283/£957)

€2750 ($3069/£2290)

The large chunk of the collection is around the mid hundreds (€300 - €800). I guess that Di Felice's minimalist aesthetic helps with cutting the cost of prints and embellishments, but I was expecting the pricing to be more similar to that of Prada or Margiela. Smart move from Artemis
