In another instance of life imitating art, Courteney Cox appears to be on the hunt for a younger stud to keep her warm this holiday season.

The “Cougar Town” actress attended gal pal Jennifer Aniston’s Christmas party over the weekend with Snow Patrol musician Johnny McDaid.

37-year-old Johnny has been hitting the studio with Ed Sheeran as of late, and Ed is good friends with 49-year-old Courteney, so perhaps the “Lego House” crooner has been moonlighting as a matchmaker!

Earlier this year, Cox was busy hooking up with co-star Brian Van Holt, however they’ve since called it quits according to Courteney’s ex-husband David Arquette.

She was very open about her divorce from David Arquette this past year, and now Courteney Cox shares more details about the longtime couple’s new relationship in the February 2014 issue of More magazine.

During her sit down, the former “Friends” actress opened up about meeting David on the set of “Scream” and how their daughter Coco is handling the divorce.

On her first impression of David:
“I had such a crush on him. David came out of the womb wanting to be in a relationship, and pretty much right away he was like, ‘You want to be boyfriend and girlfriend?’ I thought, really? It seems a little soon.”

On her daughter Coco:
“She has my eyebrows, although I think David’s dad has them, too, kind of arched. She has David’s color eyes but my mouth. She’s got David’s feet – little flat feet with cute Barney Rubble toes. She’s a good combination.”

On her thought about the divorce:
“Because we love each other and when you love someone, you want them to be happy, even if it’s not with you. You can love somebody so much, but it’s not the life you should be living together. I think David and I are supposed to be the way we are now. In divorce you always have regrets. We were married for a long time, so it’s not like we didn’t try.”

On her family’s lifestyle since the split:
“For Coco, nothing changed. I already had a house at the beach, and we had a house in town. Obviously, kids always want their parents to be together, but as divorces go, this is the best one we could provide.”
