Big, big, big in London and the UK generally! I don't like them, i really don't like jeans tucked into them and i wouldn't be able to wear them with skirts cause my legs would look so chunky in them!

Have heard comments about london looking like a rodeo actually!

Cowboy boots as a fashion statement hasn't quite made it in the land of big blonde hair. (Dallas, in case you are wondering)

Ah, maarit, I am way-hay old but still don't remember the exact year of the "stampede"; but I in addition to some vintage boots I wore the soles off, I had a couple pair of those anklebone height cowboy boots? You know, the shoe-boots? They even had the metal shank of the classic cowboy design (I'm pretty sure that element's what makes fans swear by their comfort).

Years later, I cut a circle out the top out, turning them into the world's most comfortable Mary Janes.
 
i love the cowboy boot look, but I think its gonna be a seasonal look and didn't want to buy any.
 
I find cowboy boots very hot and can't wait to buy them as soon as the snow is gone and it get a bit warmer. Althought I'm not lately into Sienna's style anymore, I love how she wears cowboy boots.
 
i still want a pair after so many years...either the new ones are too expensive that i couldnt afford or i couldnt find decent vintage ones..... :(
 
Victoria's Secret has a pair of metallic silver tony lama boots that I am in love with but no one else seems to love. They are a bit over the top, for Texas that is, but I find boots to be funky and fun and so, I think I may get them anyway.

Well, it depends. There are so many brands; the best thing to look for when buying boots is to make sure that they fit well. Some good brands are:
Tony Lama, Justin, Nocona, Los Altos, and Luchesse. The best part is to even have them custom made, like at http://www.caboots.com. There are plenty of custom made boots there. You can even look for a decent pair on eBay. Just make sure that you don't get vinyl or polyrethane ones, because they wouldn't stretch or conform to your feet. Like I said, fit is important, so you want to try on a pair first. Good luck!

i am in sydney. so i can only get it on ebay. are there any fake cowboy boots that you have mention to me? what about acme? does it make a nice pair of cowboy boots?
 
Acme is a truly classic boot! Lots of vintage ones available, highly desirable. Good designs, too.
