Credit card holders...the point?

Just wondering if anyone actually uses one. I found a really cute (and expensive) one I like, but I don't know what's the point in having one if I already have a wallet with credit card slots. Go for it or pass? Thanks.

Love them. I hate when things make my jeans pockets bulge, so I always use one in the non-jacket weather. I understand girls may not have these problems because you usually carry bags with you.

Before I really got into handbags, I used a credit card holder. I would just keep all my ID in there as well. It's not as bulky as a wallet and fit easily in my back pocket. Loved it.

I dont like credit card holders, I think they are a bit pointless when you can carry all your cards in your wallet or purse.

I used to. You cant fit bills in there normally, but Coach has some business card cases that people use as wallets because you can fold a few bills in there.

they're also nice for sticking a little cash, a key, an id and a credit card in when you don't feel like carrying a bag. like for concerts that are standing-room-only...

I have a card holder that I use only for loyalty cards and secondary ID, non essential stuff like that. Then I only take it when I'm shopping in addition to my wallet

Every where else I go I just take my wallet, which carries my credit cards and my DL. I can't bear to jam a million cards into the few slots in my wallet.

i've been looking for one for awhile now too. In fact, I just purchased one today unexpectedly! I use them for the same reason as alouisa and hipkitten. i have a few clutches and wristlets and those darn small purses or 'cosmetic bags' (like the Vuitton pochette...cept mine is YSL) and I can't fit my big fat wallet in it. I actually thought about just getting a coin purse to throw in cash, coins, cards and keys...oh well..too late now that i got one.

They are great for when you're going out to a bar/club and don't feel like taking a bag with you (when I go dancing, I do NOT want to be dancing with a bag)! These are perfect because you can just put your ID and credit/debit card in them and not have to worry about carrying around a purse.

I love using a card holder! I find it very pratical. As mentioned above, certainly takes away from the huge wallet buldge. I bought a black Gucci Guccisima card holder and I use it all the time.

If you have several dozen ID Cards they're useful...
