I’m so angry with Farneti for the sabotage at Vogue Italia, and the beautiful work for D. It’s a pity because D has such a poor paper so in print is not good, while the contents are always great

Good photography is when you feel you can walk straight into the frame and Julien's pictures (here and always) stand out like the good ol' days when fashion was a full of itself narcissist, an impenetrable bubble... I stand behind talents like him, there's very few around today, very much the essence of fashion to me. Roversi's updated patinaed look weirdly works, steely girls like Saunders or Maya look deeper under his fragile light. Alasdair's work is sharp here too. This is what a good magazine does; nurtures its talents and aims higher. Props to D, what they're doing is cool.
