I was starting to feel desperate... then saw Kate's editorial. It's not the story of the century but her performance here has something geniunely endearing, kind of 'human' yet very classy and distant at the same time. Plus I like Sam Ranger's work (even teamed up with Emma Tempest, whose work often leaves me cold as ice even in summertime).
Kinga... typical Kinga's work. I've always thought she's got a beauty of her own but always look lifeless or faithless in her pictures. Never understood the fascination for her poses and expressions, closer to what a well-wheeled robot could deliver than what a woman can express. It's not even the certain kind of melancholy, I feel the same when I see Coco Rocha and her I'm-always-so-happy-it-hurts-so-much-that-I-have-to-jump-and-smirk way to model. Just a matter of taste, this being said, and if someone ever explains me the "thing" that ignites their eyes with this kind of modeling, why not.
All in all, all this sudden chattiness (to escape from despair?), to say a long time ago I used to jump, literally, on each issue of Dansk I could find in stores and looked at most of the contents with hungry eyes. I wonder now if it was an illusion, if my tastes have changed too much, or if the quality of the magazine really went down to an unknown floor.
