As much as I love Givenchy and the brand aesthetics, I'm glad to see Daphne off Tisci's hands. She can pull off minimalist looks as well as sullen ones, I look forward to seeing her full range as a model.

She looked great in the show, really lovely and she really surprised me but she doesn't scream CK to me. Just like Monika didn't cause they are still girls.
I hope the main line and CK jeans goes to Lara Stone a woman, but i think she would be great for the second line (Mirte Maas did it once and Lara Stone with Abbey this year). However DUTCH INVASION!

I'm pretty much stunned at the moment. Because this is, what I really have NOT expected.
And I'm not even talking about her appearing at (or being an exclusive for) CK. I mean her look in that show! I would've never ever thought of Daphne being a Calvin girl but seeing these pics above now, is absolutely mind-blowing She is so perfect for this styling, the collection, the whole brand actually (now that I see her in it).
But what astonishes me even more: how increadibly refined her look has become! She was such a "girly girl", all cute and baby-faced and even though I thought that she looked totally beautiful in Givenchy, I still had my doubts about her because of that cutie-pie look. Well, Daphne still IS very young and her physics simply can't be compared to the mature look of Iris S. or Newface Ilva H. but with her appearance at Calvin she certainly proved that she is developing increadibly fast - and well!
