She's been successful thus far but she's not established enough to be too selective of what shows she does. She hasn't walked as many as many newcomers usually do anyways.

The way I see it, Daphne is a position where she can do big shows all the way. Why pollute your showlist with some B-list shows?

Also, even though I love Daphne's look, I don't think her look is fitted for all the A-list runways... No need to appear everywhere when you can make special any big show...

Maybe it's their way to approach new clients and gain some new ones as well...

But blah, this is me whining... Of course I'm happy for the success she's having this week!

Exactly because she isn't established yet but "hot", it's great to see that Women & Supreme makse sure to let her only do blue chip stuff. I think editors and designers are tired of overused girls and a great many of them ends up as fillers.. They start out with 3-5 major campaigns in their first season and appear in every "top newcomer" editorial for W Magazine and its likes but after one or two season no one wants to use them anymore because they are all "worn out" (Katrin, Toni, Lisanne, Anabela...). So why not pass oneself off as "relevant" & "exclusive" when clientele certainly approves of it?
