^ Thanks PV!! :flower: I have never seen anyone who can wear these extreme, borderline freaky outfits- and look beautiful!! 99% of the women in the world would look ridiculous in them!!

I've always liked this picture of Daphne

I love how you can't always tell how old pictures of her are by just looking at them. She's very consistent.

The Fashion Fantasist DAPHNE GUINNESS, film producer, clothing designer and fashion icon.

WHAT SHE’S WEARING Chanel coat, Chanel jacket (to be auctioned off, more on that below), her own white shirt, Martin Margiela pants, Natacha Marro shoes, Loree Rodkin rings.

ON HER SHOES I did a lot of research and found that, structurally, pole dancers have the best shoes. They’re on their feet all day. The woman I use, Natacha Marro, makes shoes for strippers and performance artists. I have about eight of them.

ON HER HAIR Eight or nine years ago, I started playing around with it. It went from red in the back to purple underneath, but always blond in front. At the end of the day, I thought “Why not have two colors?” I love black and white. In New York, I go to Jennifer at John Barrett.

ON HER RINGS I’ve always been obsessed with armor. I used to go to biker shops in Los Angeles and buy silver bondage rings, then I found these diamond ones from Loree Rodkin. I’m having a piece made by Sean Leane, who does jewelry for McQueen. It’s sort of Blade Runner meets Henry VIII — it goes up the arm. We’re going to sell elements of it at Dover Street Market in London.

ON HER STYLE I have two very distinct sides: one is simple, and one loves the ornate. Some might call it eccentric. It’s not. It’s about fantasy.

CURRENT PROJECTS I’m auctioning off clothing from my closet to benefit Womankind at the end of April. I’m working on a documentary with Philip Treacy about Isabella Blow. I’m designing a collection of white shirts — right now, they’re just in Dover Street — and a fragrance that will be out in September. And then there’s blogging. I blog about everything on the Starworks site.

CURRENT OBSESSIONS The presidential election. Two years ago, I put £500 on Obama. My bookie said, “Who?”

^^They certainly are. She looks amazing. It would be so cool to have been in the neighborhood and see her walk past in that 'costume'...She doesnt wear outfits, she is a walking piece of art that is, yes, consistently changing but sticking to her own very eccentric way of putting pieces together and making them her own.

I love her look here! The corset belt is amazing. Photo from Valentino's 45th Anniversary Party (July 2007)
