Daria is one of my favorite models to spot. I think she is swell and a very kind person. Back in February 2010 when I was first at fashion week as a spectator, she caught my attention because unlike other models who were cranky and impatient outside the tents, Daria was an angel - very pleasant and lovely to photographers, journalists, fans, and the occasional tourist who happens to be visiting New York with a camera in hand.

I’m always impressed by how she has not changed one bit as her career has blossomed more. That genuine feeling never disappeared, and that is rare to find. I am actually pretty touched by how nice she is to me consistently even though on one random rainy New York day, I shocked (probably scared… lol…) her when I gave her a shout-out in the middle of Starbucks unexpectedly. Haha!

Yes, she has new hair… Ice blonde seems to be gaining momentum in the world of high fashion. Do you like it? I think changing things up a bit is good. At the end of the day for me, as long as the models are happy with themselves, I am all supportive!
