Craig Arend/Models off Duty
It was no surprise that Daria Strokous, a face in Christian Dior’s current advertising campaign, was on the runway today in a Raf Simons-designed frock. The 22-year-old Russian model lives in New York and is currently bopping around Paris to hip-hop music on her iPod.
Do you have a special routine to prepare for Fashion Week?
I stuff my kitchen with fruit and energy bars and relax at home for a few days before it starts.
What’s your favorite television show?
“30 Rock.”
What’s the beauty product you can’t live without?
Je Veux Argan Oil. I use it every day.
What’s your favorite job to date?
We were shooting Dior in Versailles. It was closed for visitors that day, and we had the whole palace to ourselves. I spent every free minute exploring like a little kid.
What’s your go-to carryall bag?
A black Celine Tote. It fits everything I need and more.
Give us a tip for taking the best photo.
Visualize what the photographer is seeing through the lens and trust your intuition.
Describe your perfect day off.
Spending the whole day with a good book and a cup of tea and having a warm company over for dinner.

I’m looking forward to spending time with all my friends here, and I can’t wait to work with my favorite designers.
Love Daria's NY Times interview! She has a great personality and seems super nice, I'm totally jealous that you got to see her yesterday cpt.charly! btw, that fur she's been wearing this season is absolutely amazing on her! Let's just hope that no overzealous PETA people spot her wearing it!
