Here's a little blurb about the Dior shots, via trendland.

Remember the beautiful series of photographs, tiitled “Stranger in the Glass Box“, Dior collaborated with Chinese photographer Quentin Shih to produce back in 2008 (see here)? Well, it’s time for round-two. This summer, for the reopening of the Dior boutique in Shanghai, the house of Dior called upon Shih once again to produce a series of images, using the last couture collection, that would be displayed in the boutiques windows.

Shih plays with surreal beauty and creates oil painting-style compositions by retouching his subjects and in this case using one Chinese stereotype and repeating it in a pattern to reinforce the rigor and uniformity of Chinese mass culture.

Juicy campaign is so trashy....it's difficult to ID daria in it...

^ but she is, and I think it's the most important thing (; seems like Meisel really loves her. Let's hope, it's not the end.

^I quite like the campaign. Although it is a bit too cluttered, it is very different to a lot of campaigns this season and it sticks to the brand. I don't think it's very hard to ID her. My eyes instantly go to her and I think 'that's Daria'.
