Darla Baker

it bugs me that that person has put all her personal photos on flickr :thumbs down:
i don't mean anything at all against you blue, but the guy that has that flickr account is weirdly obsessed with her, and i think it's an invasion of privacy to put her personal photos on flickr without permission.

Of course she's wearing flannel plaid. Those Oregonian stereotypes are always being rubbed in our faces!

Where's her granola?

In the recent runway photos of Darla, she is absolutely glowing! :woot: What a beautiful, healthy girl.

i've been to oregon. it's not another continent, but it's really different. everyone wore burkinstocks and people stared at me for wearing a skirt. flannel was rampant. i was in a smaller town though.

Oh see, where I live, which isn't a huge town, we wear skirts, and we don't all wear birks, or flannel.

And so what if she can't pump gas! It's not her fault she's never been allowed to! Neither have I! :)

fashionledge. all of these are from different angles.

well I'm from oregon's biggest city and I can tell you that ptown is almost like a smaller version of NYC stylewise. And I mean all of NYC, not just the Upper East Side.

oddly enough the only people I know who wear birkenstocks are from Washington and out where dbear lives.:p:heart:

Washington is more like what you're talking about. Where the billionaires and high schoolers dress the same

i think we were close to the border of washington when we were there. it was sooo weird. a lot of the men had huge beards.

:blink:ptown borders Washington, but the last person I saw with a beard was my college interviewer and he was middle-aged.

I only know a few people that wear Birks, and I have to admit, I do really want a flannel shirt. haha.

But Ptowngal is right, Portland is very stylish. It's where Nike is based, not to mention many other big name brands.

portland was nice and quite a big city. it's the small town i went to that was like another world.

I'm really here to check out the gals not so much the fashion but I gotta say I love this dress and love Darla in it. :woot:

Darla looks extraordinarly tall there.

Because she's so cute and has the broad shoulders, I imagine her shorter. ^_^
