I am confused by his comments - I understand them wanting to keep the family out of the limelight and think they have achieved that in Madrid but how can he say they dont enjoy red carpets etc and move to LA one of the worse places for it - along with having Fuller make them into US superstars!!

Jam1e i think what he means is that even though people think that,he dosent enjoy red-carpets that much and just look at the last year he was barely at one glitz event.But it does seem a bit contradictoriz to the media image we see.

Emil -Yes I think you are right David has definitely been very discreet since playing in Madrid - whereas Victoria is very confident and clearly enjoys the limelight( she has been so confident and strong dealing with all in LA on her own) I get the impression David is almost on the shy side and is so over all the celebrity stuff and just wants to concentrate on his football career and family. I think that is why I feel there is a contradiction in this move to LA - in that Fuller is making them into US superstars which can only push them into an even worse level of media intrusion and they wii be expected at all celeb events to promote the brandPerhaps it may be different once Davidmoves out there in that he will concentrate on football and Victoria the same with fashion once she has become established.I just hope the boys are not affected by this move

I also think they dosent like red carpets and being in the limelight is not what their want! Yes, they have turn up some red carpets and work with their brand DVB but besides that is not they love to be "famous" they happen to be icons to many people out there.. ..

Probably so they dont get sucked into it I think it is just something the media etc pick up on - Victoria has already said that she wont waste any money on joining it. Think it is a religion where celebs are expected to pay loads of money in and if Victoria feels that she is being ripped off on house prices in LA I cant see her spending money on scientology can you? Think with the house buying they should of sent in a secret agent - he he - to check out a few places first so they dont get ripped off!

Beckham’s Busted Knee
David Beckham gives a look of extreme pain as he limps off into the dug-out after getting injuring his right knee on Sunday. Becks was playing during the Primera Liga match between Real Madrid and Getafe at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid, Spain. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Extensive testing will be conducted on Monday to determine the extent of Becks‘ right-knee injury. But really, he should really just be more careful. His legs are worth millions! Essentially $125 million each, to be exact. So, Becks, take better care of your knees or I’ll send Tonya Harding to take care of them for you!

Just six weeks before his scheduled move to Los Angeles, David Beckham suffered a strain to the lateral ligament in his right knee. Although Beckham will be sitting on the sidelines for at least a month (and possibly two) rehabbing his injury, it might not be the last time he suits up in his Real Madrid gear - if the club can beat Bayern Munich, Euro fans will have one more chance to see Beckham in action before he leaves the continent to join the Los Angeles Galaxy.
