David Beckham

Yeah I heard it ..but even if he has doubts he is hardly going to say anything about them now! There would be something totally wrong with the guy if he didn't have some mixed feelings now his dream of being recalled to England has come true.....As Arsene Wenger said, "For every hour of jet-lag a player has...he needs one day to recover"....How many hours is to LA?!!

^^But why?

He said he made his choice and is fully aware that he could stay in Europe and play at the higher level! He made a comitment and its cool to hear him being so determed, but yes i agree i bet he is having second thoughts, who wouldnt.

Sorry I do not get......."But why?"

One thing for sure is that David is a very determined and commited guy -he has proved that many times!....I just hope he has no regrets in the future about downgrading his football career a couple of years before he actually needs to!

David Beckham: The Next Celebrity DJ, 29 May 2007

David Beckham jogs as he trains back with the England squad over the weekend ahead of Friday’s exhibition against Brazil. England manager Steve McClaren had recalled Becks to the squad because they’re in danger of not qualifying for next June’s European Championships. Weird.

Yesterday, Madrid. Today, England. Tomorrow, the Galaxy.

But soccer’s not all that’s on Becks‘ mind. He’s ready to become the next celebrity spin doctor! Says DJ Dave Pearce of UK’s Radio One, “Celebrity DJs are a bit of a novelty thing, but if they want to have a go music is for everyone. I don’t want to name names, but for some it’s just a PR stunt and they aren’t even really mixing or anything. I do know that David Beckham is actually interested in it and good at it though.”

Beckham: Real Madrid nothing like Man Utd
tribalfooball.com - May 29, 2007

Real Madrid midfield ace David Beckham insists he's enjoyed his time at the Santiago Bernabeu, despite not picking up a trophy along the way.

Before he joins LA Galaxy, Beckham has the chance to lift the Liga championship and said: "We have been under great pressure in the last four years. When you are with such a great team and win nothing and in addition Barcelona is winning, there is great pressure. And it is very normal. People must have the right to criticize when they want to.

"I have enjoyed very much these years at Real Madrid. I wanted to join one of the greatest clubs in the world and have lived the dream I had as a boy by playing with people like Figo, Zidane, Roberto Carlos, Raul and Ronaldo."

Asked about the instability at Real compared with his former club, Manchester United, Beckham admitted the contrast couldn't be greater.

"It has been different and difficult to be in Madrid because there have been many changes throughout the last four years. There were many comings and goings in the way to manage the club, whereas Manchester United has been always directed by the same person. There people know where they stand. With Real Madrid it is a different mentality. It is very different from the organization of Manchester United."

^ Great pics, can't wait till Wednesday!!

According to The Sunday Mirror David is learning the Star Spangled Banner, so he will know the words for when the LA Galaxy players line up and sing it before a game.

What I don't understand is why would he have to sing another countries anthem
