it definitely does suit him. he looks like a sexy MAN. as opposed to some of these pre-pubescent looking boys that are filling the runways. *ew*

Seriously. It's such a nice change from all those Ashes and Coles. :yuk: (about them, not about him, lol)

good grief. i saw him on oxford street today, near my bustop as i was on a bus. you seriously cannot unrecognise him. he looks exactly like how he photographs. really really gorgeous. he was dressed in some shabby cream jumper and i think jeans. quite a contrast from the hipsters that seem to breed there.

did you feel compelled to leap off the bus and launch yourself into his arms?

cause that's what this dude right here would've done. oh yes, lawd!

NOOOOOOO.

i was with my dad on THE BUS. super super awkward
IF MY DAD WASNT WITH ME THEN I WOULD HAVE!!.

oh god. what i did next was embarrassing:....

i ran home to charge my camera and swap my phone for my sisters camera one. i was rushing around. then took a quick bus to oxford street and just walked around EVERYWHERE to find him.

i never found him in the end :( ugh so annoying.

Did he scream out to you? Perhaps to give me a message, like he's in love with me and wants me to move to UK with him and then travel the world, maybe Maldives and then get married on a beach in Bora Bora and then build a little cottage together in the mountains of France and raise cats together and feed each other grapes every night (among other things)? Did he tell you all that? I'm sure that's what he meant.

^ im totally sure he would have said that. but unfortunately we didnt chat.

Kushie you're so lucky! :woot:

i just love that cover, he looks so strong and manly :heart:

I feel like I must write something about this guy.

He is one of the very few men that make me feel really 'less than' as a guy... when men like him actually exist in this world, how am I supposed to feel good about myself??? lol.

He is definitely my definition of what a perfect man is supposed to look like, just as how Angelina is for the 'perfect woman.' They are true Olympians. He is like 'Angelina-perfect', isn't he?

These people. Where do they come from... really??

PS: If I were him, I would try acting. I know that sound very cliched suggestion, but he could do some great movies - being a Brit and all. It does seem like the logical next step.

But who knows?

you know what, pasha? i agree with you! he is one of the few who make me a touch self-conscious about my own looks. not in any real way, but more of a "i actually feel a tinge of envy that a man can be this sexy looking". haha.

however, i don't think his movie career could pan out. call me a cynic, but i think he's just too well-known as a model to be able to transition into film.

that being said, i think he surely has a look that would be PERFECT for the big screen. or even tv. i can picture him on The Tudors.

Some say that they are investing in him to be the next Bond after Daniel. After all, he is not that well-known to everyone. I bet if you asked 10 random people on the street, only a few would know the name, if that.

People know him as the 'D&G' model. I think he should try something, since he is not a 'pretty boy'... people would take him seriously.

he looks like Bond, for sure. but i can guarantee with 100% certainty that he will not be the next Bond, and that nobody who actually has anything to do with the films is seriously considering him for the role.

every Bond film is a HUGE deal; literally hundreds of millions of dollars on the line. the casting directors, combined with the producer and the studio heads, AND the director have to find someone they can all agree on. the decision isn't just based on looks, they have to find someone with prior acting experience, to know that they can hold their own on screen.

I love David, but he has zero previous film or tv credits. headlining one of the biggest franchises on the planet will not be his first.

just sayin...

BUT, he should try to move into acting a bit. i know he's not well known as far as the public is concerned. but casting directors will ALL know him. and whether it's fair or not, being a successful male model doesn't exactly help you break through into a legitimate acting career. he should take classes, work on getting representation for that particular industry, and get in some quality films, regardless of the part he has in them. when starting out for him, quality is infinitely more important than quantity.

That is so true.

He is loved here, because he is the first male model people actually care about since Zoolander. I mean, yes, there is the occasional Kroenig, Mathias, Jon, or Javier De Miguel, but David really became a name.

One may argue that he is not very versatile, but it is hard to be versatile in the male modeling as it is... well, in 'modeling' in general, I think nowadays. Most models, including the greats like Kate, Daria, and Gisele, are selling the same pose in different hairstyles again and again.

David became alook, almost. Not unlike Daria or Sasha. I like him, because he is good. Just that. He is good at what he does -period. Also, he looks like some Greek God, that is another situation.

I do not think I would buy anything he sells, since his image is also quite intimidating. I would never look like him, and it is silly to aspire to something so impossible. But people do not think like me apparently, since that abysmal salad dressing of a fragrance called Light Blue pour Homme became some sort of a best seller, thanks to him alone.

I swear, it smells like a mint lemonade at best.

Who wants to smell like a diet drink?
