BUT, he should try to move into acting a bit. i know he's not well known as far as the public is concerned. but casting directors will ALL know him. and whether it's fair or not, being a successful male model doesn't exactly help you break through into a legitimate acting career. he should take classes, work on getting representation for that particular industry, and get in some quality films, regardless of the part he has in them. when starting out for him, quality is infinitely more important than quantity.
That is so true.
He is loved here, because he is the first male model people actually care about since Zoolander. I mean, yes, there is the occasional Kroenig, Mathias, Jon, or Javier De Miguel, but David really became a name.
One may argue that he is not very versatile, but it is hard to be versatile in the male modeling as it is... well, in 'modeling' in general, I think nowadays. Most models, including the greats like Kate, Daria, and Gisele, are selling the same pose in different hairstyles again and again.
David became a
look, almost. Not unlike Daria or Sasha. I like him, because he is good. Just that. He is good at what he does -period. Also, he looks like some Greek God, that is another situation.
I do not think I would buy anything he sells, since his image is also quite intimidating. I would never look like him, and it is silly to aspire to something so impossible. But people do not think like me apparently, since that abysmal salad dressing of a fragrance called Light Blue pour Homme became some sort of a best seller, thanks to him alone.
I swear, it smells like a mint lemonade at best.
Who wants to smell like a diet drink?
