Dazed Spring 2020 : Selena Gomez by Brianna Capozzi

'New Era'?? Yet the music still sounds like generic pop and she's still adding fuel to the Bieber fire? Oh well, it's probably just like Ariana Grande who moved her ponytail from the side to the back, dyed it blonde and call it a 'new, grown-up look'.

What is however new is Dazed's redesign, will be checking that out instead.

Really not feeling this Selena era.

'New Era'??

Apparently she has a make-up collection coming out soon. It's called ''Rare'' and it's ''more than make-up, it's going to let all the boys, girls, men and women be themselves and feel free'' LOL
So she might be talking about that.

I can't determine who's more irrelevant nowadays - Dazed or Love.

Now this is the best I've seen Selena look, not that parched WSJ cover. This is a great cover and a very fun spread.

So edgy!
@aracic She can just say she wants to get in on the makeup range game. Not that we need another. You have all the Youtubers on one side, and all the pop stars. Think I will stick to the stalwart brands who's been doing it for years and have the research to back up what they're selling.

She looks really good here. Maybe the best I’ve ever seen on her

I know she can't change herself but over the years, every time I see her anywhere, I find her more and more challenging to present/market because basically.. no looks and no body, and you need at least one of them in that type of music and market. I may have started to pay close attention to her image after a disastrous W (?) magazine story years ago where she was given poses as if she had a 5'11 body and it just looked so.. wrong, and ever since, she either leans herself or her stylists do, towards looks that do not embrace the face that she's compact. So this looks better (not good imo) than previous stuff in fashion just because she's mostly taking up the entire frame or her body is not displayed in full. The shot with the silver balloons and the closeup are, unsurprisingly, the weaker ones..

But yeah I think they should stop trying so hard to sell her as a 'fashion' figure, she's not, unless you're a fan of her work, she couldn't sell a card holder to save her life.

The little big secret is that makeup as opposed to other consume goods isn't really that difficult to manufacture.

I liked the spread though. The second shot shows a lot of vulnerability, which is rare for a celeb ed.

This is her best editorial and the best she looks. I quite love her look this era, very different and she's having fun playing around. As for the makeup line, I mean we can all see it coming. It's easy to manufacture and price ratio is great. Makeup is the new fragrance.

I love it at least she looks really weird not so celebrity look.

She looks great in ed. Finally something different with her.

The most interesting fashion work she has done. Love the cover too though the giant gloves are rather distracting.
