Loving the last look, the first three are just blah.

Must see more!

Thx for posting :flower:

Liking the second look a lot - love the mix of double and single-breasted, and how the waistcoat and lo-rise pants match but not with the jacket. Could do without the hat, though. :)

The pants on the last look are kinda funny though. Stretch? What is this? Reebok?

No sh*t. I don't see why some Russian designers keep self-consciously referencing the Soviet past and the ethnic reference to safely play to the stereotypes of the western world  :yuk:

I would say that "it SHOULD do without the hat" :-)

BTW I like the 2nd look too, even though it's not something that striking... the rest doesn't impress me that much

there were these super hot jackets with sequined lines down the arm but i cant find photos anywhere :(

and there are also some absolutely hillarious costumes in the show

See, I say 'could,' because on the right guy, with the right look and attitude (very lean fashionista, maybe very Lower East Side with a funky haircut) even the hat could work on the street level. The model just doesn't have the edge to pull it off. Although I wish it were more like a brown fox to add a monochromatic texture to the suit - the black looks thrown on.

Actually, now that I think of it, his proportions are very DSquared in that 2nd look. I imagine the pants are cropped high and he's wearing lace-up boots as well ;)

Acid, where did you see the other looks? I'm curious to see if Simachev sways more positive or negative for me with the rest of the collection.

I know. Neither Gap Press nor L'Official '1000 Looks' featured his runway...

he has a website, but i'm not sure if the last collection is up. you can either google it or search for it here, there is another thread on this collection, I think.
