I have a bronze metallic one that I got from one of my internships... it was a sample so it was FREEEEE! But yea.. investing in a good case is so important... just make sure it has the plastic that covers the screen.

so far from the ones posted.. I like the coach ones best.

I can justify $300 for a Chanel Ipod case for two reasons. 1) It's Chanel (Im a bit of a labelwhore) 2) I trust Chanel and thier quality, yes, they want my money, but unlike Louis Vuitton* they have a major reputation to save.


Louis Vuitton hasn't been popular for as long as Chanel has, of course LV has been intermittently but Chanel is consistently, so LV could very well be crap but word hasnt gotten around (not yet at least) but Chanel has had a good word since ever. It's like a car.

I see what you mean, it's just a case and the such so it doesnt have to be fancy, but it really does perk you up to see the Double-C. Even though it is two pieces of curved leather it somehow makes your heartbeat faster.

Ive been considering getting the Chanel Ipod case or some Chanel sunnies Ive been eyeballing, I dont know which to get. They should be around the same price, because a similarly sized cell phone case costs $250. But if they dont have the Ipod case in Mini then my decision has already been made.

I can't imagine it being more, there was a cell phone case that had about the same amount of leather (albeit unquilted or monogrammed) and was $250, maybe Im under estimating Chanel.

I agree! I like coach too, the value worths the price!

I dont understand how an Ipod case can be gorgeous, its a rectangle with circle and square cut outs. The MJ & LV are exceptionally overpriced, its like 300 for two strips of leather, the Coach ones are much nicer (and the leather has such a lasting smell).

I am in love with MJ ipod cases!!! check them out and they are made out of calf leater and for 150$ only!!

the downsize is that its only for mini ipods not the normal ones!! does anybody know whether MJ produces it for the normal ipods as well?

I just found out that MJ has them for the normal ipods and they are for $175 dollars...thats a bargain!!!

i have a dior homme case for my ipod photo and i find it very useful, it saves it gettin scrached ect, and i prefered it to the lv ones as they requre the ipod to be taken in and out to changed tracks the dior one you jus pop open the front and i love the dior homme monogram so discreate but stylish!

I might be wrong regarding the MJ case though. I've never seen the cases in person, but judging from the pictures and the write-up on eluxury, it seems there's no vinyl protection whatsoever for the screen, or the click wheel.
