OMG! I had the very same LV Yellow Epi wallet (with that amazing purple inside) and mine also wore the absolute worst of anything I've ever owned. The ribbed part on the change area of the wallet became totally smooth and lost its color. I'm not hard on my things and there are days when I don't even have to open my wallet, so it certainly didn't happen because of abuse. If you go with an Epi, maybe get a dark color?

That is exactly what happened to me, and in a small amount of time too! Especially around the button/metal tab used to close the wallet, the leather became smooth. You know, I took mine BACK to the LV store and they gave me STORE CREDIT. When you buy LV, you are buying a quality product, so I was very pleased with their actions.

P.S. Yes, the purple inside was AMAZING - I miss that wallet...:flower:

when you buy an agenda, are you restricted with the designer label's paper refills or can you buy the cheaper stuff at stationary shops and put it in?

Most designer agendas have prongs that can be used with regular agenda paper, such as Filofax paper.

I love my kate spade small 6-ring agenda! It carried me through my last two years of college and the purple exterior with the tan interior is just beautiful! It's so elegant coming out of any purse or bag- I love it and I hope I get to carry it forever! Plus, every year it's only like $30 to replace the calendar!

I also had a wonderful Kate Spade agenda before switching to a larger, more durable LV monogram agenda. I had a smaller one, about 5" L, that was pink canvas with brown leather. (I went on the site to look for a picture but couldn't find one... I had it around 1998 through 2000). It was wonderful and the refills were adorable with little sketches of shoes, clothing and purses. The only problem was the exterior canvas, which easily gets dirty.

I was this close || to getting a Vuitton Cherry Red Vernis planner. The only reason I didnt get it is because I wanted at least the MM or GM size, not the tiny *** PM...

That Cherry red Vernis is absoulutely gorgeous, such a deep color.

Does anyone know whether or not the small ring agenda (Louis Vuitton) is big enough to completely conceal a passport?

No, I do not believe it will hold a passport. It is very small. I know it would not fit in the back pocket of the small planner.

I upgraded my small to the medium size LV Monogram. I LOVE it. It was my best investment. I use it for a wallet also, or shall I say it replaced my wallet. The only problem I have with it is the pen holder. I find it rather large so my pen is always slipping out. I am always paranoid I have lost my pen. Other than that I do not have one complaint!! The medium will def. hold your passport.

oh, i have a very pretty one by Paul Smith... i posted pics of it at the "What are you wearing today" thread i think.

Honestly, I can't afford that beautiful Guccissima one as I would have wished, but I do have a small Coach planner. It is light blue leather with white trim and a cute silver pen. Refills are not too expensive and it is great because I can take it anywhere. Otherwise, I envy all of you LV-planner-carrying-ladies!

I have a Coach one too, with the watersnake trim. I love it.

There is a new signature agenda, I wish it came in another color than the hot pink, like a turquoise or white, or even black signature.
