She is famous for her height/lack their of, along with that gawgus face. A lot of her model cards say 5'6, but she is widly believed to be 5'4.

(LOS ANGELES) Couture model. Martial arts enthusiast. Denim designer? There’s always something new with Devon Aoki.

You’re actually watching the shows today, not walking. Is it weird seeing other models do your job?
“I’ve gotta say, it really is! I started when I was 14 and I just saw my friend Amy Lennon on the runway and I was like, ‘Hey, when you were 14 we walked the runway together at Givenchy in Paris and both our parents were backstage!’”

How do the models look up there?
“L.A. fashion week is new and most of the models are new too but obviously beautiful.”

It wouldn’t be L.A. without a plug for a movie—what’s your latest?
“I’m doing a new film called Dead or Alive and we’re using the same stunt coordinator as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. I was just in China for four months shooting and I’m working on other things like a denim line.

Really?
“Yes, I’ve wanted my own jean line for so long but it’s taking forever to get off the ground. The name of it will have something to do with my name and we’re going to do the whole thing in Japan.”

Will it debut on a runway in Japan or here?
“It will debut on me!”
