is it just me ---does anyone else thnk she looks really not-exotic..she has such bland, washed out coloring, and her eyes are too close togeather...plus she is waay too short..she is like 5'5". i think the only reason she was famous is cuz she is "multicultural" and has a famous family... comparing her face to others like christy turlington, or fernanda tavres, ajuma, and other asian models...she is really subpar. i'm glad she stopped modelling to clear the way for girls who don't look like anyone else down the block. plus..she lok smad bloated---combbo of the sickly white skin and, freckles--that lok more motteld than sunkissed,and her baby cheeks. don't asians usually have defined bone structure? i have met many eurasians and asians who were waay prettier than her.

I never cared for her particular look but I liked the fact that shes something different (not an imitation gemma like I've been seeing so much of lately)..I also like that she's short. I swear this season has had some of the most unattractive models..I can't tell the difference between most of the new girls (with a few exceptions). I think there's beauty in all people and it really depends on how hard you are willing to look to see it. I don't like the fact that she gave up a successful modeling career for small parts in corny movies..she's not going to be the one to prove that models can make the transition into acting.

i hope you don't mean me because it was nothing personal..i wan't trying to be insulting. If you mean the other comment up a few posts..yeah that wasn't nice but close minded people are not worth the energy it takes to get upset. don't be sad, it's their loss.

Just going through the new asian models threads and devon's makes me sad because people, instead of just stating that they don't like the model, feel they have to compare them to others or just insult them. I understand, though. That's life.

I don't think he/or she was trying to bash Devon, he/she just stated his/her opinion. Hey, not everyone thinks Gemma is pretty or Daria is that special. What we're gonna do? Tell them to shut up? If we want to praise her then we would be ready to hear bad comments.
Anyway, I think Devon is fine looking. She is exotic to the Milan fashion because she looks very Asian. One of the thing I notice is that almost all EUrasian, or anything-Asian models who have a successful career on high fashion runway have to look very Asian: small eye, small mouth, oval, round face. WHile I have no object to them, I think if a Eurasian girl is pretty, they should just pick her, not to pick only the stereotype of what Asian beauty is like. Sorry I don't think she's that gorgeous like everyone seems to think. But I still like her because she made a transition, ppl say short one can't be models (or more specifically, not a runway model).

She should really consider modelling again. Her face isn't very actress friendly.
