Another Treasure!

My reward is your wonderful response for my efforts and more importantly - to our muse. And I just happened upon a new picture - new to me anyway. The idea is that many people are wearing this one particular dress. Devon is just one. But considering the array of body types in the editorial...an interesting concept. I'm neutral about her. Yes, she looks quite unique. But actually she's not gorgeous or anything that makes the fashion world went in craze about her. And I don't like it how high-fashion always pick a no-eye-lid, round-face, when it comes to pick an Asian, or a half-Asian model. Some Eurasian I know look stunning but because they don't have that very distinctive Asian look (They are half-half perfectly. Their eyes not double-lid but not quite no lid, it's sooo exotic!) Yet they are refused because they don't look Asian enough. But I would still love to see Devon Aoki. She overcomes lot of requirement to become a model. And she looks quite tasteful!

lol i kinda agree. like im not against that sort of "Asian feature" (as every single feature have its own up or downside), but i dont like not the media treat us like a art (not a person) and sometimes they go all out to a point that a full-asian who dont match some of those feature (like me) look like an alien (or "white-washed" wanna be")

Those are amazing pics ruslana_rules!! I like the contrast of dark hair and pale skin on her.

That barbie looks nothing like her.. except maybe the eye shape ( who the hell has yellow eyes?? ). She shouldn't have been that blonde or busty..

Yes...I totally agree with you. The seller refers to the eye color as lemon...I think it would be a color possessed by a a person who is either seriously ill or metamorphasing into a werewolf. Amazingly the said custom doll's asking price is over $200! But I digress - I have more from the CosmoGirl Sept. 2006 shoot. So I hope everyone gets in their Devon zone and enjoy.
