^ I haven't read the books but from what I've heard the show has strayed pretty far from the books now anyway. According to the show's creator how this season wraps up will determine the vibe of the rest of the show... I'm really curious to see what happens, but DNW any Deb/Dexter hook up. Gross.

Okay....I do not like the direction that last episode went in.
I was cringing HARD time that therapist asked Debra if she had sexual feelings for Dexter. WTF?!

And her little dream was SO painful to watch. I had to cover my eyes. I sincerely hope nothing comes of that.

^Are you talking about True Blood?? If so, then heck YES, I can deal with Sookie screwing a dead man...I can not deal with Debra falling in love with her brother. Even if they aren't biological, they were still raised as brother and sister. Maybe it's because I have a brother...that's probably why it makes me cringe so much. lol.

I was hoping Debra and Detective Anderson might get it on. Hopefully that will happen.

It feels false. There has been no indication in past seasons that there was this type of tension underpinning their relationship (unlike, say, Boardwalk Empire). It just feels like a gimmick by the writers, its too out of the blue and inconsistent. Dexter is entertaining, but its also not the best written show...

Wow, so they're really going with the incest thing. Ridiculous, they have really run out of ideas. I know this show isn't the deepest or most well written, but damn.

The last 3 seconds were good, though.

And I sincerely hope Debra's little, sudden infatuation with Dexter will disappear now that this has happened.

I'm hoping the last 5 seconds of the show will undo any of these supposed 'feelings' she has for him lol! I cringed as well - the strong bond between Dexter and Debra has always been one of my fave things about the show and this just feels wrong....

The Deb/Dexter thing is just... No.

As for her finding out, I'm interested to see where they take it, but I really hope they don't completely change her character to fit into where they want the plot to lead.

I imagined a dialogue between the two of them:

Debra: Ew, Dex, you´re a vicious serial killer!! That´s gross!
Dexter: Ew you! You are way grosser, you´re having sex dreams about me!
Debra: You´re right, let´s keep a lid on this.
Dexter: That´s the best option.


I don´t know how they´re going to follow....maybe the fact that it was Travis on the table could help him convince Debra that it was a good deed he was doing....but it´s going to be difficult.
