WOW! Nice Diane! Great casting and very desirable clothes.

i like this collection a lot and it's a nice step up from what DvF usually does. except for that weird Hawaii sunset/beach/water print...

love karen and the optimistic vibe overall here.. still kind of bland clothes...

Diane von Furstenberg called her show today Oasis. Midway through New York's nine-day fashion week, we could all use a few hours off in some safe haven. Not much chance of that anytime in the next three weeks. Lucky for us, then, that DVF delivered a solid ten minutes or so of fun. Chalk it up to the smiling faces on the models, the Naomi Campbell sighting at the end of the show, or von Furstenberg herself bopping along to the beat, enjoying—no, loving—every minute of her long walk around the runway.

All of that adds up, sure. But as importantly, the designer made sure to keep the clothes upbeat, too. She wore her own version of the show's defining look, a "poster dress" depicting lions and zebras roaming through the savanna, but the sand-scape print of a halter-neck maxi dress also stood out. And there was just as much zing in an orangey-red column dress that laced up the side with silk rope and another halter style in dazzling azure blue. Not into color? DVF did graphic black and white, too. Joan Smalls' zip-front black and white diamond-print dress turned more than a few heads.

"What I'm hoping is that people feel joie de vivre, happiness, and beauty in a world that is so rough, so unpredictable, and scary," von Furstenberg said in the hubbub before her show. She did her bit for the cause today.

The last Diane's collection I really liked was S/S 2008 and after 6 years she did it again :lucky:
