As usual, Diesel has gone for an irreverent, innovative and striking campaign. It’s Steven Meisel who’s created the images for the Autumn/Winter 2012-13 Screen Test project.

Individuals like Karen Elson, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Jamie Bochart, Fei Fei Sun, Coco Rocha, Mirte Maas, Sid Ellisdon, Ethan James, Yuri Pleskun, Sallieu Jalloh and Dae Na have been asked to express their individuality as if they were at an audition. Taken in sequence, the photos become almost short videos showcasing the range of different personalities – with an eye towards Diesel’s now famous Portraits for successful living.

I love Mirte very much, but it seems like she has troubling making funny faces sometimes. I think she looks good without the concept in mind, but if I take the concept of this campaign with me, i think she quite fails.

^ IF that's the full campaign, where are Jamie Bochert and Karen Elson? Did some of the pictures not get posted?

Yuri and Hanne are adorable in their shots. And Fei Fei Sun is such a stunner. I really love those ads, there's a lot of personality in every shot and I like how the styling is all over the place, makes it believable that this is just a bunch of young people with different styles and characters having fun together. I don't get why the Coco shots are on every second image, though. They're nice but way too heavily featured in the campaign.
I don't see how Jamie and Karen would fit in here though I'd be curios to see it if they indeed are part of the campaign, too!

FeiFei and Sid, perfection. Love the interaction with Coco and Dae as well and Salieu's boxing just wow. The campaign is one of my favorites this season.
