difference between AAS and BFA

Guys, could you please help me understand the difference between AAS and BFA program in fashion. How different are the two degrees in terms of courses, recognition, job prospects and salary structure.

Can an international (asian) student help me know, how easy or difficult it is to get work permit as a fashion designer after completing 1-2 yrs degree program in US.
