You’re too kind. I adore the old dog’s glorious past— and in hindsight, even appreciate it more in contrast to what she’s become now. But the unfortunate reality is Madonna today is the epitome of ghetto cringe. She surrounds herself with lessers and children, and looks, dresses and hilariously behaves and thinks like a Bratz doll. Dressing in Dilara would be a step up for her these days: Dua wears a Dilara corset in the July UK Vogue coverstory shoot, and it looks admittedly solid— very convincingly vintagey artisanal.
