Ya salam ! Another Saddle Bag freak from dubai. Though i still love the bags i hate the "woman" running around with them and buying at karama. It made me wearing them not that often as i used too. An to be honest i am not a fan of logomania that much anymore Why o why do they have to put the CD literally everywhre. EG: The detective would be lovely without the hardware CD *just my two cents* yalla

Actually livin in Dubai few month per year by myself and my husband is over there more often due to business reasons. And you are right you can spot the fakes a mile away and if you wanna see them en masse you just have to go to peppermint on friday And you are livin in dubai or local btw i am not a jumeirah jane i prefer to be an Sheikh Zayed Rd jane

Here, it's a little less than $1000US. My mind is saying 930 or 990. It is supposed to be a limited bag. If you don't want the saddle, the Honolulu Dior has the bag I posted in the Yay/Nay thread. It's supposed to be limited to that store only so it'll have a little plaque inside the bag saying so (they said they ordered ~200 only). That's $1120US.

Habibti! Why don´t you just pass by BurJumans Dior Boutique an get on the waiting List? They are very easy to deal with. Or do u wanna avoid the extra Dubai pricetag

i had my name there 9000 times for many bags but they didnt even look at the waiting list ,,they have their own beloved custmores..as i mentioned b4,,i usually order from france ,,, but am tooooo lazy 2 call and ask ...LOOLz

Yeah but one thing are u local or arabian origin you sound a bit like lebanese
And i know what you mean some families are defenitly first service no matter of the waitlist. Same with S*uce and Villa Moda. But if you now your SA or the Manager of SAKS in the Dior case it helps a lot.

lilach ,, am puuuure arabian dear ,, pure local ,, but still it doesnt help,,the manager there appear ONLY for few people * u know who* and the stuff are fool ones,,, i keep asking them about bags ,, they have no idea about wut am talking about ,,they hire ugly ones with cheap salary just 2 call them sales women in Dior,,,walla i know more than they do
btw they have lots of bags that they'r hiding inside and i'he seen such thing
once i went with my friend,,her dad is known man in dubai...my friend asked the sale girl do u still have any gamblers?? the sale girl denied having any1 n then she asked her 4 her name and # 2 enrol her in the waiting list,, and when me friend mentioned her name ,,sale girl was :| ur daughter of ****** ?? my friend positively replied,, n then the sale girl took my friend inside and told her that they do have gamblers but they'r not shown 4 any people and if she wishes *my friend* she could have 1 but she must keeps it as a secret ,,

what do u think???here in dubai ,, ur money is 6uzz as long as ur carrying a well known family name ,,even if ur indian

Oh gosh i konow what you mean. I once ordered a jacket at Gucci an the Sa gave me a ring when it arrived so i imeadiately went the (to the main store on Khalifa(i believe now closed) not the one in the towers) and as soon as i got there my Jacket had dissapeared. Just to find out it went to a local on al Wasl (you know whome i ean) At BurJuman it maybe helps cause my husband is a very good businespartner /friend of the Al.G****** Family But you are right Dubai sometimes is a real hazzle. And the other thing is that most items are indeed more expensive than in Europe itself. And what di U think i alwas feels that even the boutiques themselves are something behind up to date. It comes out in Milan in e.g January it get do Dubai in May am i right
