Thanks pinklipgloss ... I really love the medium size! I've never seen the double saddle IRL but I think that the medium is better suited for my build. Now I want to buy a pair of matching gaucho shoes ... byranboy mentioned it was hard to match with stuff, so I figured I should at least get the matching set!

Whoa girls!!! Check out ebay item 6877436422!!! It is the ivory medium gaucho with a very low start price!!!
Trust me, the seller is great (even though her pics are crappy) because I bought a Dior Detective from her not too long ago......Just wanted to share!!!

I have to say I've been using my gaucho every day since I received it and I absolutely love it! The leather is really nice especially now that it's broken in. I love the medium style ... it's so easy to get in and out of. I love that I don't have to open the flap to get my phone, I just lift the flap a bit and there it is ... in its own little pocket.

As for the olive brown color, it actually goes with alot of my clothes. I guess I'm kinda of boring since I wear alot of neutral colors. It really is a beautiful bag IMO.

I got to see the Dior Gaucho in person the other day. Very nice, very trendy, very in-the-moment.

I love the bag, but I am not sure if the bag will still be respected and adored a year or two from now.

White is the color I want. (Also sometimes called "Cream"). In person the white leather is very distressed, off-white, with gray smudge-marks everywhere- lovely. I won't be worried carrying this too much if it gets a little dirty- it will in fact, add to the character.

The Dior SAs are kind of funny, they ignored the customers and chatted amongst themselves, and when one of us started picking a bag up and looking in the mirror, the SAs flocked around like crazy, all at once!!!

Haha, working in retail + commission does that to you.

I've contemplated getting a replica, to be honest, but I think I would like an authentic medium white gaucho or a YSL white large muse bag.

BryanBoy said of his bag it looked very odd and awkward if too many things were placed inside, I wholeheartedly agree. IN the boutique I placed my cell phone, wallet, tiny makeup bag inside the Medium White Gaucho and the bag looked VERY VERY full. (Decent, but anything more would've made it look very awkward and odd).

THe worst I saw is of Kate Moss who stuffed her White Gaucho, I honestly believe this bag is best when it has almost nothing in it!!! Here:
