I suppose I should have expected nothing less, but I am absolutely crushed about the price of these bags. I have been obsessing over the medium detective bag since I first saw this thread a while back, and was constantly scouring the internet for evidence of it online. well... I found it. but at 1500 US a pop....it is HIGHLY out of my reach.

really....this is my IT bag. but it would cost about the same as my powerbook did, once you convert the US funds into Canadian...and I just cant justify that on a handbag unless I win the lottery. its so tragic...

perhaps if I save for a long time.....

the spring 2005 bags (esp. the detective bags) are so ridiculously overpriced. i don't even know if i'll be getting mine now...

the small version is $900, the medium is $1650, and the large is about $4000.

i'm so in love with the detective saddle. i may get that (and matching wallet of course), if anything at all.

ugh, i must say i agree. even though they are beautiful...so so so much. I think i might pass, or perhaps get a red medium. maybe.

the croc ones for fall were amazing, i dont even want to know the price of the large crocodile detective (in tan please, haha)

I love, love, love the Dior Detective line, nice to see the Saddle got reinvented in a non-logo material.

I love the Dior Vintage Flowers line, lovely. Hate the rehash of those f-ing wedges though.

The Cannage is alright, it looks best on shoes. The Peace & Love is soooo bad, god I hate it.

aw i really like the red saddle bag! i started getting into dior and all the designers n stuff when the dior girly came out and dior had some great collections and they kept coming but i don't like some of the new stuff like the peace & love and the vintage flowers... oh and why do they always have new collections that keep coming out like every month or what seems like it at least.. i really liked the dior golf [i think thats what it was called]
