Diorshow Beauty 2015:Ondria Hardin, Ming Xi by Craig McDean

Craig McDean for Dior Beauty?? Nice comeback. I loved his 2009 campaign with Edita. This is instantly better. The first shot is so good it can double as a main campaign shot. Very glad for Ming Xi, her second beauty campaign. Who's the other girl?

I think it is Harleth Kuusik

Ondria is gorgeous, but I still think that Olga Sherer was the best Diorshow gilr.

Oooh, the video is great! It initially seemed a lot like a 'how to' video series, but I'm liking the direction. Cute wink at the end.

I'm not at all interested in that catwalk shot as a means to sell me mascara. While people may recognise the 'fashion values' of a brand name, when it comes to cosmetics, the impulse is to buy a beauty product because it promises a generic result - making you look better/different by generally understood standards. The catwalk shot is trying to sell 'classic beauty' but it's just robots on a conveyor belt.

So it's really just Ondria in the campaign.

Well I really hope the other girls get some love too, especially Ming. Perhaps their shots will be released gradually.

LMAO @ the bold part. Not exactly a charming prospect.

It seems the premise of that catwalk shot is that women should try to emulate their runway look? I still think it's an interesting marketing angle, and it sets the campaign apart from it's competitors. Dior dabbled with this concept in the past, but the message is much more clearer with this campaign.

Great video and love the mascara shot!

Love love love!!!
Also the first shot is just amazing, Ming looks impeccable!!! :)
