Dirk Schonberger* Fw 03-04 Paris

Well, Dirk Schonberger -means Dirk the-beautiful-shepherd- is one of my most favourite indie designers, but for this season, I was quite dissapointed with his use of color (black can sometimes be extremely boring for me)
Otherwise, his main points were
*adorable, inteligent pleats
*satin textures
*mix of contrasting fabrics in one piece eg. skirts
*cape sleeves for tailored jackets, cape backs on dresses
*"inter-active" clothes that get adjusted with ribbons etc
*clever knits

The empty table gave a theatrical mood to the show.

Well, Dirk Schonberger -means Dirk the-beautiful-shepherd-

that's a lovely interpretation but berger doesn't mean shepherd in german as it does in france ... berg is mountain or hill and the 'er' is just a usual family name ending....
