Looking dressed up in something as casual as a sweater may still seem unthinkable to some, but Donna Karan executed the idea with ease and urban chic for resort at DKNY. Called Night Sports, the collection featured sporty looks, even sweats, rendered with polish, bringing a street vibe to classically elegant materials like lace. A beaded sweatshirt, for instance, was shown with a gold sequined skirt, while an athletic top worn over a blouse with a jewel-studded collar was teamed with a floor-length black skirt in a mixture of lace, netting, georgette and chiffon. Tuxedo jackets cut in a relaxed fit and black pants with a yellow tuxedo stripe underscored the easy evening theme.

Idk, but I actually really like this. That embellished black sweater reminds me of something Phillip Lim did recently. I think separately, the pieces are quite chic. The styling isn't so bad. Call me tacky, but I love the pink look. lol

This screams loud Riccardo Tisci to me!! Night sports?? I would call this "Night burglary at Givenchy store"...

Nothing groundbreaking to expect from a diffusion line. Yet, I think this collection is fun and young. As other mentioned previously, a lot of details taken from Givenchy and Phillip Lim. The embellished collars reminded me of Prada FW12-13.

I really like that sporty spirit in that collection. I see a little bit of glam and elegance too.
It seems like thare're great pieces to wear everyday ;)

Something in the back of my mind is nagging me, telling me not to like this collection, but I do. There's a vivacity in it that isn't seen often enough.

I just love how Donna Karan's been injecting a little glam into the label season after season. She just juxtaposes the glam and the sporty so well, it's hard not to like it.

Sporty, fun and cool very contemporary, the collection is good though.
