I've noticed a sudden influx of doctor's bags. What are you're feelings on these types of bags?

I find them very good looking and practical, because opening them one really sees everything in the bag. And I love the structure and that they're not slouchy. But I do find them uncomfortable to carry around, especially for a long day.

Some runway examples

Personally I steer clear from anything that keeps my hands occupied. It all depends on the wearer’s lifestyle.
I love Celine in orange though.

I adore these! I've been searching for the perfect vintage Doctor satchel bag for awhile, but most of these vintage bags are so huge since they were used to carry supplies. I think the shape is quite classic and would tote it around even when it was no longer trending.

so cute! love them!
but i´m afraid they are not comfortable to carry around?

Love them! I still haven't found the perfect one in my price range, but hope I will as soon as possible

i absolutely love the style. i wish fashion in general would tip back to the 50's silhouette. doctors bags are a part of that style.

ralph lauren did a version several seasons ago. (purseforum)

i definitely see/feel this bubbling up as a trend...

Does Kate Bosworth's Prada bag apply? It received tons of positive reviews on her thread.

Also, Taylor Tomasi Hill was carrying a doctor-ish bag during the last NYFW.

Maybe not in the classical sense but I think it works:D.. It's really nice looking

I saw this bag by Converse (first string line), which has a practical strap to it. It has a nice unisex feeling to it

The Celine ones are beautiful and Prada's two toned one is tdf. I'm very fussy about bags but I feel I can't go wrong with a doctor's bag. There's something about the function and shape of it that I like. I have a Topshop sample bag that I've carried to the point where it has worn out.
