Does anyone remember a Chanel HC collection that featured a "seamless" dress?

I'm sure I remember reading many moons ago about a hand-sewing couture technique Chanel used that made it appear as though two panels of fabric were seamless.

It took something like 6 hours to sew 2 inches of fabric or something ridiculous.

Google isn't turning up anything - does anyone remember this? (Or have I invented this memory? 🙃)

I think the spring 2006 couture collection maybe? The satin dresses at the end looked seamless. I think Karl said something about seamless dresses in an interview for that collection.

There’s also the casino collection HC FW2015/2016 where they used 3D printing on the suits and some of the dresses/daywear.
