Dongqi "Dylan" Xue

Soo regal & stunning:wub:. She's sooo unique, haughty & fierce that I'm SURE she gonna be BIG:P. Glad to see she did so well at fashion week & I'm BEYOND excited to see how her career develops^_^.

such a cool and strong look, the Wang lookbook is gorgeous.
stay tuned for her when the campaigns start to roll out

Can't wait to see it.

She made the same impact on me that Fei Fei made back in 2010 and Sung Hee in 2012. She's just so high fashion and I could see her taking the same route that Fei Fei made (Prada, Dior, etc), where other Chinese models failed by being too commercial/plain.

Dylan xue: Avedon angularity meets latter day beijing cool

"The real triumph for this 21 year old Beijing beauty is that she has a relevance beyond the runway"

When a girl gives the camera *this*, working out the intro text to her feature becomes so much easier. And then it goes something like this…

"18 shows for a newcomer to the fashion circuit is an impressive score, but what is most impressive about Dylan Xue is not only that in her very first season she scored so many shows. The real triumph for this 21 year old Beijing beauty is that she has a relevance beyond the runway." #therealvalue

For a new girl, she certainly stands out so much. I love how she is a bit older, I prefer girls her age being in the industry compared to 16 year olds and younger, there is that mature reassurance and security about her. I can't explain :D I saw photos of her today on a 'faces to watch' page and her cheekbones are insane. :Pink: Height, and beauty, perfection

OMG! She working with Meisel. The campaign looks great and she looks gorgeous.

Her bone structure is flawless, definitely one of my top picks from last season although neither Klein or Meisel have quite brought her best out in these group images, but it's early days still...

Beyond ecstatic for Dylan! It was only a matter of time. Personally waiting to see what else Meisel will/can do with Dylan (especially classical portraits). May Dylan be more than just a 'flavor'....

Attended Coach opening in Beverly Hills, last month.

Was this a reference to Coach only or something else too? Klein & Wang?

^ Interesting...So there's more than Coach? :shifty: I think Dylan makes an excellent Wang girl.

^The suspicion only rose ever since that W editorial rolled in - knowing it was shot by Klein that it could be probable... and the Wang lookbook was perhaps the cue? Reading in too much? Well, not gonna hold my breath, knowing...

Alexander Wang S/S 2015 by Steven Klein. :woot: I can't wait.

ALL ABOARD THE WANG EXPRESS: Spring campaign or spring break? Alexander Wang brought the party to his spring ads, which were shot on a suped-up party bus, complete with disco lights and at least one shot of model Anna Ewers dangling through the sunroof.

Wang is an unapologetic fan of the mobile party. “It’s the secret to prolonging a good night,” he said. “There have been so many times when people leave a club and they have to split up and find taxis or get stuck in traffic. They sober up. The party bus is the traveling party. It never stops.”

His art director, Pascal Dangin of KiDS Creative, has come along for the ride several times and had the idea for the concept, shot by Steven Klein and featuring Ewers, Binx Walton, Dylan Xue, Lexi Boling, Sarah Brannon and Vanessa Moody. “It felt so authentic,” Wang said. “All the girls are girls who come out with me. We got the set and said, ‘It kind of just feels like last weekend.’”
