I don't think its embarrassing - especially not if she has a legitimate right to use the name. I mean if you had connections or something that would give you an advantage - wouldn't you use it?

It would be embarrassing if she was no relation of Hemingway's at all and pretended to be (like some actress went around pretending to be related to Edie Sedgwick awhile ago), but this is not the case, so i don't see the problem. :flower:

Besides, from what I know of Hemingway - he was quite the man-about-town himself, he wrote about the faded glory of america and the troubles of the working class, but i believe he himself attended as many glam cocktail parties as the best of them.
 
Hemingway was friendly with many glamorous It Girls, I know Ava Gardner was very close to him. I'm sure he would get a kick out of all this.

If I was a model trying to further my career would I suddenly adopt the name of the greatest American writer- No way, it just seems like such an obvious manouver, people would have found out "who" she is anyway!!! But that is just me and I am easily embarrassed!!!! I understand that there is a lot of oppertunity in this for Dree.

Moving on again....
Has she been confirmed for any september shows???

^Genius. I will eat my own words and say that Juergen did Dree justice. Other than that one I&V picture where she's wearing the Stella McCartney, I was still ambivalent about Dree. This series is perfect though (for me anyways). :heart:
 
Still not sure about her yet, but I do really like her W ed, the grunge shot is cool she does it very well.
