actually yes shaving armpits & leg hair is required of the ladies, that's that.

Oh, waaaaah! Maybe she doesn't want razor burn. I know that's why I quit zhaving. My poor pits would get so raw I couldn't use my deodorant, and I figured it was far preferable to show my fuzzy mammal side than to go around smelling like B. O.

Frankly, I don't see the big deal. If more women would shave less, pretty soon most people would stop thinking it was so shocking and exceptional. It's not like she has a big old booger hanging out of her nose or her underpants are showing.

Speaking from a male perspective, an unshaven woman is gross . It's just a matter of upkeep. I keep my face/body clean and trimmed/shaved I should only expect the same from a woman.

Aside from shaving, there are plenty of other hair-removal options. Plus if you don't have underarm hair, it's much easier to keep it from being smelly.

Women should shave, just like guys should keep themselved kempt.

What's next, moustaches on women becoming acceptable? Clean it up for the love of god.

anyways, people, hair grows on the human body for a reason! Hair around the armpit and those... er... areas that CelineChic just described are there for cleanliness and warmth. The hair keeps dirt, developing sweat, and other things from going in places they shouldn't be. Simple as that. So people need to stop with the unhygenic bullsh*t.

Though, despite this knowledge, I have succumbed to today's standards of beauty and I do shave my armpits. I like the smoothness. But my boyfriend shaves his armpits too, because he discovered that he likes to have smooth armpits too
