For all the critism that GALLIANO HOMME gets, he sure gets copied alot...Galliano Homme did this western motif last year but Galliano made the show gritty and had the boys greased up and dirty as if they were outside in the sun for hours...anyway when you take apart dsquared, they have nothing to offer
Though worked out pretty ok, the theme is very bad and very tacky. I don't like everything directly connected to the theme, wether it's actually the Andy Warhol (good thinking kit!) or just cowboys. The theme aside, lots of it is actually pretty nice, which surprises me. Usually I just don't like it all at D2, but not this time. I think that the jeans are absolutely fantastic (the one in the last pic aside, don't what that is called in English) Some of the none-jeans trousers are fantastic too. The thing is, with Dior you don´t necessarily have to look like a fashion victim, there´s something discreet about the collection (no offensive branding, etc.), whereas with D-Squared, you often look like a label-wh*re.
Oh, and I gotta say, I absolutely detest this collection
It's so terribly bad, and the trousers and espescially some of the jeans have the WORST cut ever. The last pic is gonna haunt my dreams for a long time...
well...we now know what the women's collection theme is gonna be...they always do the same for men and women...i kinda like it....but maybe i'm just supporting the canadians
Actually separately the pieces are quite nice, but togther it's one big ho down at KFC. I love that last shirt in post #5, it's lovely, though that shirt has been done for ages.
Dsquared always seems like a gay p*rn come to life. This season cowboys, last season Catholic school boys and before that a Bachelor party and a while back Lumberjacks.
errmmmmm ................ i don't really know what to say.................... The ONLY thing i like is the silver blazer and even then i sense that whatever's on the left sleeve is likely to put me off. And denim waistcoats? Please.
