I don`t get Dsquared2, this whole concept has been done by them several times! maybe with different references but it`s always execute like this (dark, fetish, bad boy theme) and their only alternative is to go preppy, gangster or disco. Their needs to be something from their now considered tacky archive of past collections and make them modern and cool for the new season.

Dsquared² (²= ALT + 253) BTW

I think it's a nice collection. Thanks Dean n' Dan :)

What's there not to get? You've described their brand to a tee. That's Dsquared2. They are the Village People of fashion and the masses seem to love it. You don't go to them for innovative, conceptual and progressive fashion design. They are superficial, flamboyant, trendy and tacky; They are pop. And they're hugely popular with the masses because their image is so accessible to people: Their image of men is Abercrombie and Fitch and their image of women is Victoria's Secret-- just with more of a fetish vibe and at a much higher pricetag. That's what the masses think of when they think high fashion. These guys don't need to innovate or progress-- they're not interested in that, nor are they about that. They only need to enforce their brand of shallow and tacky sexiness with each season for and masses will still love it.

Ok i'm not referring to the brands image what i'm trying to say is that they've done this concept before in most recent seasons (F/W 10 being the most identical to me). I'm only attacking them for their lack of themes that i've enjoyed watching their shows for. I thought F/W 12.13 was a great collection that they produced. I'm just annoyed at this collection in particular for being TOO identical to some previous ones that they've done.

I was honestly hoping this collection would be something like their resort...

^^^Oh OK-- gotcha. LOL.

As you've mentioned, their themes are pretty limited: fetish bad boys, preppy, disco or gangster; basically the fetish-archive for gay fashion. And that's been on heavy rotation for them. Don't expect them to go beyond that. I do like the spiderweb chains of crucifixes though-- so for those wondering what the theme is this time, feels to me like Catholics-school boys gone bad. They must've been listening to that awful "Girl Gone Wild" track.

Does it matter?

I'd like to wear almost half of the collection.

Oh, completely agree. Although it seems as if they've done this look before, I really enjoyed the collection. Nothing new but fantastic pieces. Don't even get me started on the leopard shoes. There's a button up top with a neon pink collar calling my name! :D

I don't like it! Maybe diferent because of necklaces but this is a Deja vu and I'm not exciting for womens collection.

It looks like they've flown in half of the queens from Chelsea pre-gay pride day (on their most "business-y" attires).

Indeed, this whole collection is a very literal revisitation of past seasons ...

It's a sad day when Dsquared puts out a much better collection than Prada.

I quite like it.
